Philosophy of Eucation
At Math Mansion, the instructional design philosophy centers around student-centered learning. With an emphasis on self-paced learning, inquiry-based strategies, and project-based learning, my approach is to create dynamic and engaging learning experiences that empower students to take ownership of their learning journey.
More about Sara
Sara's innovative approach to education has been recognized with numerous awards at both the district and state level, including STEM Program of the Year and nominations for Fairfax County Teacher of the Year. As an Assistant Principal, she spearheaded a learning recovery summer program in 2021 for special education elementary students, helping bridge learning gaps caused during the pandemic.
Sara’s expertise extends beyond the classroom. She has developed high-stakes math assessments, led professional development programs, and managed large-scale educational events. Her dedication to fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment has made a lasting impact on her students and colleagues.

By leveraging her extensive experience and innovative mindset, Sara aims to transform math education on a broader scale. Driven by her passion for creating engaging and effective educational resources, Sara founded Math Mansion in 2024. Her mission is to empower educators, parents, and students with innovative tools that make math accessible and enjoyable.
Math Mansion offers fresh, evidence-based math resources for middle school teachers, parents, and private tutors, with instructional videos and notes packets coming soon in 2027. For now, Sara is excited to continue working with students one-on-one while building Math Mansion into an education powerhouse.
