Return Policy

1. Overview

Math Mansion sells digital educational resources — including PDF worksheets, activity packets, station sets, and supplemental classroom materials — through our website at mathmansion.com, operated on the Wix eCommerce platform. Because all products are delivered digitally and are immediately accessible upon purchase, our refund policy reflects the nature of intangible digital goods.

This policy applies to all customers worldwide, including those purchasing from the United States, Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, and all other international locations. By completing a purchase on mathmansion.com, you agree to the terms of this policy.

 

2. Nature of products sold

All products sold on mathmansion.com are digital downloadable files (primarily PDF format). Upon completed payment, customers receive immediate access to download their purchased files through their Wix account or via an email delivery link.

Because digital files are:

  • Delivered instantly upon purchase

  • Impossible to “return” in the traditional sense once downloaded

  • Capable of being copied and retained by the buyer even after a refund

...all sales are generally considered final. However, Math Mansion is committed to customer satisfaction and will evaluate refund requests in good faith as described below.

 

3. Refund eligibility

3.1 Situations where a refund WILL be issued

Math Mansion will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:

  • Technical failure: The file(s) could not be downloaded due to a technical error on our end and the issue cannot be resolved within 5 business days of the reported problem.

  • File corruption: The downloaded file is corrupted, incomplete, or otherwise unusable, and a replacement file cannot be provided.

  • Duplicate purchase: A customer accidentally purchased the same product more than once. A refund will be issued for the duplicate transaction only.

  • Product misrepresentation: The product description or preview materially misrepresents the content of the file (e.g., stated grade level or subject matter is significantly inaccurate).

  • Unauthorized transaction: A purchase was made without the account holder’s authorization. Customers must report unauthorized charges within 30 days and may be asked to verify their identity.

 

3.2 Situations where a refund will NOT be issued

Refunds will generally not be granted in the following circumstances:

  • The file has already been downloaded and the customer simply changed their mind.

  • The customer purchased a product that did not meet their personal preferences (e.g., preferred a different format, difficulty level, or aesthetic style).

  • The customer claims they did not intend to purchase but the transaction shows a completed checkout with no evidence of fraud.

  • The customer is requesting a refund solely to obtain a product for free.

  • The request is made more than 14 days after the purchase date (except in cases of documented unauthorized transactions).

  • The product was purchased as part of a promotional bundle and only a portion of the bundle is contested.

 

3.3 Membership subscriptions

Mansion Membership (monthly or annual subscription plans) is subject to the following terms:

  • Monthly memberships: You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued.

  • Annual memberships: A prorated refund may be issued if cancellation is requested within 30 days of the annual renewal date and no more than 10 individual resources have been downloaded during that renewal period.

  • Free trial periods (if offered): No charge is made during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged for the next billing cycle.

 

4. How to request a refund

To submit a refund request, please contact Math Mansion within 14 days of your purchase date using one of the following methods:

Your request must include:

  • Your full name and the email address used at checkout

  • Your order number (found in your confirmation email or mathmansion.com account)

  • The name of the product(s) in question

  • A clear description of the issue or reason for the refund request

  • Screenshots or documentation if the issue is technical in nature

We will respond to all refund requests within 3–5 business days. If approved, refunds are processed through the original payment method via the Wix payment system. Processing time may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card provider.

 

5. International purchases

Math Mansion welcomes customers from around the world. The following additional terms apply to international purchases:

  • All prices are listed and charged in US Dollars (USD). Currency conversion fees, if any, are the responsibility of the customer and are determined by your bank or payment provider.

  • Math Mansion does not collect VAT, GST, or other local taxes on behalf of international customers. Customers in jurisdictions that require self-reporting of import taxes or digital goods taxes (such as EU VAT rules) are responsible for compliance with their local laws.

  • Refund requests from international customers are subject to the same eligibility criteria and 14-day window as all other purchases.

  • Refunds are issued in USD to the original payment method. Math Mansion is not responsible for any exchange rate differences between the time of purchase and the time of refund.

EU and UK customers: Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital content. However, this right may be waived when the customer expressly consents to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is lost upon download. By completing your purchase and downloading your files, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

 

6. Exchanges and replacements

Math Mansion does not offer product exchanges. However, if a file you purchased is found to contain an error (factual, formatting, or otherwise) after download, we will provide a corrected replacement file at no additional charge. Please contact us with your order number and a description of the issue.

 

7. Chargebacks and payment disputes

We ask that customers contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their bank or credit card provider. We are committed to resolving disputes quickly and fairly.

If a chargeback is filed without prior contact, Math Mansion reserves the right to:

  • Suspend access to the customer’s account and all associated downloads
