Need a break while your students practice? This Halloween-themed Self-paced Bingo Review Game is perfect for independent practice on Scientific Notation and Powers of 10 (including with negative exponents)!

How it Works:

Hand one out to each student and tell them that the first 10 students to get a Bingo will be "in the running" for a random drawing to be the winner (see "Teacher Tip" below) Students will race to answer questions and get a Bingo. This game is a fantastic way to review key concepts and reinforce learning in a competitive, engaging manner.

Pro tip #1: Play until you have a "Top 10 Bingo Winners" and keep track of the winners on a recording sheet. Then, from the Top 10, use a random number generator to randomly select 1-2 winners. This keeps students engaged beyond the first Bingo winner and it also opens up that the winner can still be anyone in that group. It adds layers of fun/competition beyond the traditional way of playing.

Pro Tip #2: Keep the answer key and recording sheet on your desk for easy checking.
