Description

Looking for a dynamic and fun way to reinforce Order of Operations and Replacement with your students? Look no further! Our Bingo game is the perfect addition to your classroom resources, designed to make learning enjoyable and effective for students of all levels.

Aligns to CCSS/State Standards:

  • Student will be able to simplifying expressions using the Order of Operations

  • Student will be able to simplify algebraic expressions given the replacement value of the variable

What's Included:

  • Bingo questions to display

  • Teacher's guide with instructions and suggestions for gameplay

  • Printable student Bingo board that they customize with given answer set

  • Answer key for quick checking

  • Bingo questions are editable so teacher can adjust rigor as needed!

How It Works:

As the caller reads/displays different expression, students search their bingo cards for the answers. It's a fantastic way to review key concepts and reinforce learning in a collaborative and engaging manner.

Why you'll love it:

  • Promotes active learning and student participation

  • Reinforces understanding of simplifying expressions in a fun way

  • Supports multiple learning styles through visual and auditory cues

  • Encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skill

Pro tip #1: Add a rectangle to the word document to cover up the questions before you project onto the board in front of the class. Click and drag the rectangle to reveal 2-4 questions at a time to keep pace of play.

Pro tip #2: Play until you have a "Top 10 Bingo Winners" list on your board. Then, from the Top 10, use a random number generator to randomly select 1-2 winners. This keeps students engaged beyond the first Bingo winner and it also opens up that the winner can still be anyone in that group. It adds layers of fun/competition beyond the traditional way of playing.
